This pivotal role falls under the Data Platform organization and you will report directly to the Head of Data Platform. Moreover, your strong partnership with Checkr's Product, Financial Planning & Strategy, Data Engineering, and cross-functional business teams will be the key to unlocking their potential through the strategic use of data and be the last mile for translation to impact on business. What you’ll do: Partner with business stakeholders to gain deep understanding of our products and customersEffectively communicate insights and recommendations from your analysis to a non-technical audience across all organizational levelsCollaborate closely with product owners and finance partners to analyze the value of new features, enhancements, and projects Based on exploratory analysis, create customer profiles, develop metrics to inform pricing and monetization strategiesDevelop AI context, evals to enable your business stakeholders to self-serve your data modelsWork with engineers to develop data sources and core metrics to be utilized by the entire companyExperimentation Evangelist - educate and promote a data driven culture through experimentationWhat you bring: 2+ years of experience in a highly analytical role, with at least 1 year in a product analytics/data science roleAdvanced proficiency in SQL, as well as an understanding of data warehouse principles including data modeling; Bonus points for experience with dbtExcellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and prioritize growth opportunities based on data and experiment resultsStrong written and verbal communication skills and the ability to distill complex analytical solutions into actionable insights and communicate business impact to non technical audiencesA demonstrated self-starter with excellent prioritization skills, able to drive projects to completion with minimal guidance.An A-player mindset with a strong bias for action: you raise the bar, move with urgency, stay resilient through ambiguity, and take ownership to deliver meaningful outcomes.Pay Transparency DisclosureWe use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop ranges for our roles and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.
